And then Carnival Tuesday 2005 came. Three hundred masqueraders took to the streets of Port of Spain... and owned it! All of this eclipsed when she was awarded the Poison WOW Award... the top award in Poison Mas band for 'OVERALL BEST SECTION 2005'. But little did everyone know, Damita was now getting warmed up...

Out of nowhere, in 2005, Damita Jo created a name for herself, a name synonymous with style, attitude and success. For this reason, with Poison's theme for 2006 name DREAMS, it was only fitting that Damita highlight her success with PLATINUM... the realization of her dream of success and fame! She retires her denim 2005 outfit for a platinum colored costume, studed with gems and pink 'diamonds' to further illustrate her rise to stardom. Her Nasty Boy is back with her and once again they are out to rule. PLAYERS WANTED, ARE YOU DOWN???
